Spring into LIPS!!

Berry Haute ($7.99 Revlon), Rebel ($14.50 MAC), Freckletone ($14.50 MAC), Brown Sugar ($7.49 Revlon Lip Butter)
Spring is HERE!!! Thank GOD! If you're in Atlanta you already know that we really didn't have a winter, but it's not the change in the weather I'm happy about, it's the change in makeup trends.
I'm not HUGE into switching up my makeup styles with the season BUT one area that I do switch with the season is my lip colors! Now, I'm not talking about dark colors in fall & winter and pastels and brights in Spring & Summer, because I wear whatever lip color I feel throughout the year, there are just certain colors that pop more during different times of the year, the ones I'm going to discuss in this post are some that are fairly new to MY Spring lipstick collection.
Enough talking let's just get to it:

These are the on the lip swatches of each color

Excuse my greasy face I completed this after having my makeup on all day lol & I'm also trying out a new primer to review for you guys!!

I love trying out new colored lipsticks because it's a really quick and fun way to switch up a very basic makeup look (like the one displayed in the photos). If you don't have very much time during the day to do super dramatic eyeshadow looks consider picking up some vibrant and bold "statement lipsticks"!!

If you have any questions about anything feel free to leave it in the comments!!

Gonna post a few pictures of looks I've done recently as well as a few product reviews that I have written but just not posted for whatever reason.

HOW TO SAVE BAD HAIR IN A HURRY!

Hello Fellow Fashion Addicts!
I hope that your Halloween was festive and full of tricks and treats! As for me I recently returned from eloping in Las Vegas! (Yay me!) We had an awesome time. I literally did not sleep lol! But not to stray off topic, those who know me are aware of the fact that I am VERY anal about my hair. I have been natural over a year and I decided to straighten my hair for my wedding day. I went to my local Dominican salon for a blowout and trim (she didn’t even trim my hair!) so I ended up doing it for myself which I prefer anyway. But during the vacation we were literally on the go the whole time so I wasn’t able to spend as much time on my hair without my husband getting frustrated (lol). So thank goodness I packed my favorite polo white tee because it turned out to be a life saver. The weather was fair. Sunny in the day and cool in the evening so when we were out sightseeing I got the idea to wrap my t-shirt around my head to save my hair from the heat and still be stylish at the same time! I call it my Eyrkah Badu look! I’ve included pictures so maybe it will come in handy for some of you all.
Feel free to comment or ask questions. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated from Montrese and me.
Be Blessed!
Chas!!

TOP 5 FASHION TRENDS OF 2011
The leaves are falling, the weather outside is brisk, and winter is coming about. There is a flame waiting to be sparked in our closets! This season’s trends include plays on patterns, prints and various colors. Texture and contrast are also huge factors in creating the perfect day or evening look. Adding these different accent pieces to your outfit can stimulate flair to your ensemble. With a little free time and an eye for great deals you can usually find practically new pieces at your local consignment stores (Trust me I have mastered the art!). One thing a woman adores is to stand out in a crowd. Using your own creativity and fashion sense renders a bold statement without breaking your bank. Also COMFORT IS KEY, I cannot stress that enough. You may have paid the price for those red bottoms but is it really worth the pain of walking on stilts? (Not that I have had the chance to slip into a pair of those, but I’m just saying). While the trends of the season depict simplicity and elegance of the 60’s and 70’s sometimes we have to let the wild side surface! Choker necklaces and cuff bracelets are in this season along with leather bondage accessories. Yes I said it! Although controversial with its sexual stigma, it has found its way onto the runway. So with that said, if you unleash the best don’t down play it! But I digress, here are my top 5:
