What The E.L.F.!!!

E.L.F Cosmetic Review

http://www.eyeslipsface.com/

This is my review on the Complete Coverage Concealer, HD Under eye Setting Powder, & Mineral Infused Face Primer. Montrese recommended these products so i decided to give them a try. I am not a makeup connoisseur by any means so when it comes to products i usually use the basics, given that i do have oily skin that is extremely sensitive i am very careful with what i do use. The Mineral Infused Face Primer is very light and smooth upon application, i hardly noticed any heaviness. I noticed the longevity of my makeup throughout the day. Finding a year round concealer is hard for me seeing how i have lighter skin. I like the Complete Coverage Concealer because it has a variety of colors to blend in any season. I can use the lighter color to define my brow and the darker to contour my nose area. It is also great to cover the slight imperfections i may have. After applying my concealer i used the HD Under eye Setting Powder. It helped to keep my makeup from creasing and hides dark circles. I give these products an overall 10 of 10, when i completed application of my whole ensemble i was pleased with the results and the fact that i didn't feel as if i had cake on my face! I know if i told you i wouldn't believe that i spent $12 in total! AAAHHHHH (evil-laugh) See for yourself, you wont be disappointed. I've included pictures for you to check out also. Let me know what you think guys!!

Excuse My Wrapped Hair ;) But this is the Finished Look!!

Spring into LIPS!!

Berry Haute ($7.99 Revlon), Rebel ($14.50 MAC), Freckletone ($14.50 MAC), Brown Sugar ($7.49 Revlon Lip Butter)
Spring is HERE!!! Thank GOD! If you're in Atlanta you already know that we really didn't have a winter, but it's not the change in the weather I'm happy about, it's the change in makeup trends.
I'm not HUGE into switching up my makeup styles with the season BUT one area that I do switch with the season is my lip colors! Now, I'm not talking about dark colors in fall & winter and pastels and brights in Spring & Summer, because I wear whatever lip color I feel throughout the year, there are just certain colors that pop more during different times of the year, the ones I'm going to discuss in this post are some that are fairly new to MY Spring lipstick collection.
Enough talking let's just get to it:

These are the on the lip swatches of each color

Excuse my greasy face I completed this after having my makeup on all day lol & I'm also trying out a new primer to review for you guys!!

I love trying out new colored lipsticks because it's a really quick and fun way to switch up a very basic makeup look (like the one displayed in the photos). If you don't have very much time during the day to do super dramatic eyeshadow looks consider picking up some vibrant and bold "statement lipsticks"!!

If you have any questions about anything feel free to leave it in the comments!!

It looks great, and we're both really excited to show it to you guys! The skirt post will actually start our series of fashion posts that we will call...eh...we don't know yet, but they'll be dope. I'm stupid excited about our Fall Fashion vidoes, as well as a cool lookbook type post that we're about to start working on.

Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque Review

Hello Blogger World! It's Trese, and I wanted to start off with giving you guys a review of the "Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque". First I just want to say that the product was purchased with my OWN money, & neither Chas nor I are paid to review any of these products. So let's jump into it!

I purchased this product about a month and a half ago. That was right before I put highlights in my hair and I knew I would need some kind of deep conditioner that would help with strengthening and moisturizing my hair.Well I'm a frequent youtube natural hair video stalker watcher, and I watched some really positive reviews about it so I decided to give it a try. I bought it from Target, pronounced Tar-jay, and it was $10 for 12oz, which is a great deal, especially considering the ingredients!!

This deep treatment masque is supposed to "deeply penetrate to moisturize and repair over-processed, dry, brittle, or damaged hair. It contains Sea Kelp minerals to detoxify hair follicles, Argan Oil to restore shine and rebuild elasticity, and Shea Butter to deeply moisturize and repair."

...
I used the masque in my hair about a week after I highlighted my hair, making sure to adhere strictly to the directions. Unfortunately I didn't get the results I was hoping for, but I continued to use the product every week. By week 4 I was still getting the same sad results so I decided to try the product in a different way. I read on the side of the jar that it could also be used as a leave-in, so I decided to use it as a moisturizer for my twists. To my surprise it worked extremely well! I only had to use a little and it made my hair super soft and it smelled yummy! Speaking of the scent, it has a nice sweet floral smell that lingers nicely on the hair so you kind of get a whiff of it throughout the day lol. I'll post a more detailed review of how exactly I use it at a later date.

Ultimately I was a bit disappointed that this was not my holy grail deep conditioner (I'm still looking!!) but I am glad I found a way to use it up so I'm not wasting my money!

Here's a few pics of the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque:

It is super creamy and very rich but doesn't leave the hair greasy!
